Rocca’s is s full service food company producing high quality frozen stuffed pasta. Rocca’s was established as Pasta World, a family owned and operated business. The patriarch’s Vittorio and Mafalda Rocca arrived in America in 1958. In 1983 the family had the vision of bringing authentic homemade pasta recipes from their region of Abruzzo, Italy to the American table. In 1985 the family carefully and with commitment to total quality expanded to a wholesale manufacturer of frozen filled pasta products. Today, Rocca’s Italian Foods produces a wide variety of high quality frozen specialties, such as tortellini, ravioli, cannelloni, raviolini, dumplings, spaetzel, and much more.
To this day, Rocca’s is still a family owned and operated business in New Castle, Pennsylvania, just 45 miles north of Pittsburgh. Rocca’s products are sold to a number of national accounts, restaurant chains, retail grocery labels, government contracts, warehouse clubs, diversified retailers under private label programs and found in finished goods manufactured by several institutional customers for use in frozen dinners and canned products. Rocca’s quality products and customer service is driven by its ability to provide timely, consistent, and customizable products to suit a specific need or flavor profile.
All production is centered in our highly advanced 60,000 sq. ft. facility. We utilize a full time quality control department, are USDA inspected, respect all HACCP standards and Global Food Safety Initiatives (British Retail Consortium Certificate Standard). Our production lines are capable of expanding production capacity as needed so our customers know that they can count on us in any surge in demand at very short notice.
